You also learn key gameplay mechanics at end game now? For some reason? Literally level 17 (cap is 20) and starting the last section of the story line and I am just now learning about equipment refining? That is a mechanic you learn in the start of the game!Īnd since all the sidequests are gone you have no reason to explore the land. Now there is only one line of armour for your character class so you get no say in your stats. For some reason, tank classes have the EXACT SAME STATS as rogue characters and the rogue amour gives them better HP and DEFENSE than tank classes?! Gone are the days where you get lots of equipment and get to choose which stats on said equipment best fits your needs. The only thing enemies drop is spare change and disappointment.Īlong with this, the character builds are all shagged. It is all controlled.Īnd no more loot! The chests you do find are filled with pennies and pocket lint. So there is no gratifying feeling when you level up. Now you get to level up as a quest reward when you finish "milestones" in the story line. The main quest line has been shortened (what took months to complete now just took me 13 hours) So much content was stripped from the game since when I used to play it that it feels more like the BETA version rather than the full released game.Ĩ7% of the game was scrapped with no more side quests. We will update this post once the free game becomes available… Please like our fan page for announcements. If you are a new player picking up Neverwinter for the first time you will have fun! But I also pity you for the experience you will never have.
